Goal Set Up and Storage
All Region 114 teams with the FIRST game on a field are responsible for field/goal setup (goals/nets/corner flags). If your team is hosting another region on our field, then your team is responsible for the entire field.
All Region 114 teams with the LAST game on a field are responsible field breakdown and returning items to their proper storage location. (Note that in some instances, we may ask you to either take down the goals or leave them in place. Read below.) If your team is hosting another region on our field, then your team is responsible for the entire field.
Friday - Field Setup (first teams)
Heartwell Fields 6 and 7 Friday
On Friday nights, Field 6 and 7 teams with the first match must retrieve ONE RED BAG and ONE step stool and FOUR corner flags from the green "coffin" container that abuts the baseball snack stand, between Fields 6 and 7. The coffin will be unlocked by a region volunteer at approximate 5pm on Friday nights.
The red bag should contain two goal nets, mallets, and 8 to 10 stakes. Remember only one red bag and only one step stool per field. If your opponent already grabbed these items, then share with them.
Heartwell Field 12 Friday
On Friday nights, Field 12 teams with the first match must retrieve two black goal bags from the green "coffin" container that abuts the baseball snack stand, between Fields 6 and 7. The coffin will be unlocked by a region volunteer at approximate 5pm on Friday nights.
Each black bag should contain goal frames (that need to be assembled), one net, and 2 corner flags. Each team sets up one end.
Friday - Goal storage (last teams)
Heartwell Fields 6 and 7
On Friday nights, the nets and corner flags at field 6 and 7 should stay up. (DO NOT TAKE DOWN THE NETS OR CORNER FLAGS.)
The following items should be returned by the last teams on Field 6 and 7: mallet, unused stakes, and step stool. Place the stakes and mallet in the large red bag (one bag for the entire field), and return with the step stool to the green "coffin" container that abuts the baseball snack stand, between Fields 6 and 7.
Heartwell Field 12
On Friday nights, everything on Field 12 should be broken down and returned to storage. Please disassemble the goals, and place in the goal bag along with two corner flags, and return to the green "coffin" container that abuts the baseball snack stand, between Fields 6 and 7.
Saturday - Field Setup (first teams)
Heartwell Fields 6 & 7
Saturday mornings, teams playing on Fields 6 and 7 SHOULD find the nets and corner flags already assembled. But if not, you will need your team to assemble the nets and place the corner flags.
Heartwell Fields 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12
Saturday morning at Heartwell Park, all goals, nets, and corner flags are set out at the fields for you. However, each Home and Away team is responsible for assembling the goals and placing the nets.
If you have a 7U or 8U match (Fields 8 or 12), here is a Goal Setup video that shows you how to set up the goals.
