U5 Jamboree
The U5 Jamboree is a 60 minute party and introductory practice session for U5 Boys and Girls registered for the AYSO Region 114 Fall season, lead by certified Coach Trainers from First Touch Soccer.
Who is the U5 Jamboree For?
For many kids in this age group, U5 is the first introduction to "big kid" soccer with weekly practices and scheduled Saturday games. (But, no goalkeepers and we don't keep score... it's all about SAFE, FAIR, FUN!)
The U5 Jamboree is intended to ease that transition with fun drills and games in a party atmosphere. Participants get the opportunity to run through soccer skill sessions and participate in a scrimmage with other U5 players. Sessions are led by professional, licensed coaches from our training partners, First Touch Soccer. All participants receive a free soccer ball, beverages, and snacks. Limited to first 100 players registered for U5 through AYSO Region 114.
What do I need to bring?
Once you've signed up to attend the Jamboree, all you need to bring is your U5 player and your excitement! In order to participate, all players are required to have shin guards, socks (covering the shin guards), and appropriate shoes, e.g. soccer cleats. Players without this will be turned away. We also recommend sun screen. Players should be dressed in appropriate soccer practice attire (shorts, t-shirt).
Registered participants receive a free ball that they can use at the Jamboree, as well as drinks, and snacks.
When is the U5 Jamboree?
The 2024 Jamboree is Sunday, August 11th at Heartwell Field 11. (Near the AYSO 114 Container)

How do I sign up?
How can I help make this a fun event?
When your child participates in AYSO, so do you! AYSO requires parent engagement to keep costs low, and to deliver a world-class soccer experience for our kids.
All families are requested to select one volunteer duty, to participate in the Jamboree. Thank you for being part of our community.
