AYSO Region 114 Playground
AYSO Playground is a pre-soccer, adventure/exploration program for two and three year olds introducing fundamental motor skills in collaboration with parents & guardians, using soccer as a common thread.
Playground is not a traditional soccer program -- there are no scrimmages, soccer matches, or practices. (That begins at U5 in our Core Recreational Program.) It is more like a "Mommy & Me" or "Daddy & Me" program. Our Adventure Leaders from First Touch Soccer lead parents and players through fun activities each Saturday. Parent participation is a must. The age of the players is taken into account - please understand there will be crying, there will be days they don't want to come, or they wish to leave. The program is designed for you to drop in and out without stress. This should be a fun activity (for parents and players).
Players participate each Saturday with their parent (or other adult) working with them on the field. There are no mid-week practices, just the meet ups on Saturdays. (Usually 9:00am at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, but is subject to change.)
Your registration includes shirt and photo. Playground runs during the Fall season only. For prices and season dates, please visit our Fall Registration page.
